Premier League Betting – Tottenham’s Aaron Lennon Favourite for PFA Award

With Wayne Rooney looking increasingly like a shoo-in for the PFA Player of the Year award at betting odds of 1/5 Paddy Power has turned its attention to the association’s Young Player award.

Having been nominated for the award three times previously the bookmaker expects Tottenham’s Aaron Lennon to finally land the award this year, making the Spurs flier the 4/6 favourite ahead of Arsenal’s Alex Song at odds of 4/1 and Birmingham City’s shot stopper Joe Hart at 9/2.

Having hit the headlines in Everton’s 3-1 win over Manchester United at the weekend Jack Rodwell is at betting odds of 16/1.

Elsewhere Chelsea’s Didier Drogba has closed the gap on Wayne Rooney in the scoring charts and is now 6/4 to win the race for the golden boot whilst Manchester City and Liverpool are 6/4 joint betting favourites to win the race for a top four finish.

Aston Villa, with nine of their remaining 13 fixtures against teams currently in the bottom half of the Premier League table, follow at odds of 3/1.
